Brand New XL Sensor

This time, Merger's classic design binoculars are powered by the brand new XL sensor, with a pixel pitch of 12 microns and a record resolution of 1024×768 pixels. The French made Lynred sensor, with superb HD image quality and detail, precise identification of the trophy and fine details of the surrounding landscape.

Long range detection and highly informative field of view

If you test these powerful new Pulsar binoculars in the field, you might think that long distances have never been so close. The Merger LRF XL50 can detect a warm object at a surprisingly

long 2,300 meters distance even in total darkness. What may also surprise you is the highly informative wide field of view.

Approximation without loss of quality

We're proud to call the new Merger LRF XL50 true all-around binoculars. The wide field of view for scanning and target acquisition and high image quality and detail are noticeable throughout the variable magnification range from 2.5x to 20x, retaining enhanced detail, clarity and contrast.

The detection efficiency is achieved with the F50/1.0 fast aperture germanium lens. Combined with the HD sensor, this device provides high contrast and informative images even during rain or fog when the temperature contrast is minimal.

The built-in precision laser rangefinder determines a distance of up to 1000 meters with an accuracy of plus or minus 1 meter. Judging the distance to the target is a major factor in making the right decision.

Convenience when viewing with both eyes

The new binoculars feature the same classic form factor as the Merger LRF XP 50, with the same ergonomics and comfortable viewing experience. Exploring the world with both eyes reflects natural human vision and is less tiring than looking with just one eye. The interpupillary distance in the Merger LRF XL50 binoculars can be adjusted from 56 to 71 mm to suit the individual needs of the user.

In addition, the resolution of the high-contrast HD AMOLED display matches the resolution of the thermal sensor. This means less distortion – the image is sharp and contrasty, with bright colors.

In addition to excellent thermal performance and comfort of use, the Merger LRF XL50 binoculars are powered by a unique dual-battery system – a built-in and removable APS3 battery. It is easy to replace the battery by touch even in complete darkness without turning off the device.
